I am an Associate Professor in the Biological Systems Engineering
Department at the University of
Nebraska - Lincoln . I am involved in various teaching, research
and extension activities associated with precision agriculture. I am
originally from Kyiv, Ukraine. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Agricultural and Biological
Engineering from Purdue University
(West Lafayette, Indiana) in August 2000. My primary research interest
is design and analysis of automated systems
for mapping soil properties on-the-go . In 1996 I completed my
undergraduate degree in the area of research and testing of
agricultural equipment, at the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization, National Agricultural University of
Ukraine .
