Biomedical engineering combines fundamentals from engineering with aspects from all areas of medicine. It is difficult to define what a career in biomedical engineering will look like, as it is very different for each person.
Biomedical Engineering Society at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln strives to unify students from several of the departments of the College of Engineering into a group of biomedical engineers. The organization is based out of the Department of Biological Systems Engineering, but currently has members from chemical, electrical, mechanical, and industrial engineering.
We strive to provide education through speakers and conferences, advising opportunities, and social gatherings. Please join us at our next meeting!
