  • Extrusion technology: single screw extrusion, twin screw extrusion & foaming dynamics
  • Bioseparation engineering: solid-solvent extraction, supercritical fluid extraction & liquid chromatographic purification of nutraceuticals from plants
  • Food safety engineering: thermal food processing & microbial growth kinetics
  • Energy efficiency: heat transfer enhancement & energy conservation
  • Computational engineering analysis: numerical analysis of heat and mass transfer, computational fluid dynamics & molecular modeling
  • Computer-aided research and education tools: development of scientific software, internet-assisted education systems & computer-based data acquisition system
