About Me:
Towfiqur is a Ph.D. candidate in Biological Engineering at the Department of Biological Systems Engineering, University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He earned his B.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering in 2016 and M.S. in Farm Power and Machinery in 2018 from the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Bangladesh. His primary research focuses on precision livestock management. Towfiqur employs computer vision, instrumentation, and advanced data processing and analysis techniques, along with machine learning, deep learning algorithms, and EDGE computing. He is committed to developing cyber-physical systems aimed at enhancing animal management practices and elevating animal welfare standards.
