Dr. Curt Tomasevicz, assistant professor of practice in the Department of Biological Systems Engineering, delivered the keynote address to a packed auditorium of students at the National Science Olympiad held in Lincoln, NE. Representing a powerful blend of athletics and academics, Dr. Tomasevicz shared stories from his journey as an Olympic gold medalist in bobsledding, a former Husker football player, and an engineer.
A proud UNL alum with a degree in electrical engineering, Dr. Tomasevicz teaches biomechanics and engineering economics in the BSE department. His keynote inspired the next generation of STEM leaders to pursue their passions with discipline, curiosity, and resilience.
