I am a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Biological Systems Engineering at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, pursuing an M.S. in Agricultural Systems Technology (AGST) with a specialization in Animal Health, Welfare, and Precision Management. My research focuses on developing a novel low-power embedded camera system for beef cattle identification using biometric features such as facial patterns and muzzle recognition. This system integrates Arduino, Raspberry Pi and NVIDIA Jetson Nano technologies with image processing, sensor automation, and real-time data collection under extreme outdoor conditions.
I bring prior experience in IT support, software configuration, network management, and web development, which has strengthened my ability to solve technical problems in applied settings. My academic background further includes hands-on development of embedded and IoT-based systems, with projects ranging from environmental monitoring to smart automation.
