About Me:
Rachel Ibach is the Advisor/Student Success Coordinator for the Biological Systems Engineering department.
Rachel has an undergraduate degree in Agricultural Education (Leadership Option), and a M.A.S. degree in Applied Science with a focus on community development. As a graduate student, Rachel managed the Cultivate ACCESS program, an initiative focused on supporting youth and college students underrepresented in STEM careers and she facilitated professional development activities for Applied Plant Systems, a summer Research Undergraduate Experience (REU) program at UNL. Her graduate research has been presented at the American Society for Engineering Education conference and the North American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture conference.
Her professional background includes working jointly for UNL’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR) in an undergraduate recruitment role and member of Nebraska Extension’s College and Career Success team. She has co-facilitated the CASNR Change Maker program, which focused on professional and personal development of undergraduate scholarship recipients and has collaborated with Nebraska Extension to create and deliver programming to enhance college and career readiness skills in youth across Nebraska.
