About Me:

I am a doctoral student in Engineering Education Research. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a master's degree in Industrial Engineering. My research areas are engineering education policy, intercultural competence, and utilizing reflective practices in engineering classrooms. I am the current president of BSE-GSA (Biological Systems Engineering- Graduate Student Association) and a vice-president of the graduate body of Society of Women Engineers at UNL. In my capacity as the president of BSE-GSA, my foremost objective is to foster a strong and supportive community amongst graduate students in Biological Systems Engineering.
